In art the children have been investigating different buildings and architecture.  The children brought in a photograph of their home and eagerly shared information about their home and family with the class.  Many learned their address and spoke about ways to keep safe. Using their knowledge of materials and their properties, along with the photographs, they creatively designed and made their home looking closely at colour, texture, pattern and shape.  The children talked about the similarities and differences of the homes. They evaluated and modified their work as they went along, working individually, with a partner and in small groups.
