The children in Class 1 designed a roly poly toy. They experimented with different 2d shapes to see which one rolled the best. They investigated how to fix different sized circles to their cylinders, and what effect their choice of wheels made to their roly poly's style of travelling, and they decorated their roly poly's to make them festive in time for Christmas. Finally the children tested and evaluated their end products using a star and a wish.

                                        My snowman fell so I need more glue.

                                        I could have more decorations.
