Today Class 1 children learned about why welsh people celebrate St David’s Day. They listened to the story of St David.

 

They tried on the traditional welsh costumes. They learned that on St David’s Day people wear a leek or a daffodil.

 

The children got to eat some welsh cakes.

 

They learned how to say good afternoon in welsh and practised counting to 10 in welsh.
