Active Kids 2019
Tuesday 8th October all Y1 children took part in the first session of Active Kids at the Barn at Lynnsport in Kings Lynn. The focus was gymnastics and balance skills. They took part in a variety of games. They played Simon Says which they thoroughly enjoyed. They also did an obstacle race which involved lots of frog jumps, bunny hops and hopscotch.
On the bench vault they learnt different ways of travelling safely along the bench. They tried tip-toes, squats, slide, duck walk, side steps and crawling.
The next session will be in the spring term.
